Winvic Partnership with 2026 Inspiring Women Awards

Winvic Construction Ltd, a prominent main contractor known for the design and delivery of public and private sector civil engineering and construction projects, has confirmed its partnership with the 2026 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards (IWICE).

This collaboration coincides with a major milestone for the firm as it celebrates its 25th year in business.

The partnership follows a successful period for the company, which saw seven of its entries shortlisted at the 2025 awards. Winvic's involvement in the 2026 programme highlights its long-term dedication to investment in female professionals and its commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). By participating in this anniversary year, the company aims to reflect on its heritage while pushing forward its ambition to help shape a more inclusive sector.

The 2026 IWICE awards are designed to champion the roles of women throughout the engineering and construction industries. The programme focuses on celebrating achievements, sharing success stories, and providing essential networking and learning resources to aid career progression. It also highlights organisations that have established themselves as excellent places to work.

Through this event partnership, Winvic will be involved across the entire programme, including the full-day conference and awards ceremony, a virtual webinar series, and a half-day workshop for finalists. Additionally, the company will judge and present the 'Excellence in Recruitment and Retention' award category. Rebecca Schwarz, Winvic's People and Resources Director, will serve as a judge for this category, which honours organisations showing an outstanding commitment to attracting and developing diverse talent.

Rebecca Schwarz commented: "We are incredibly proud to partner with the 2026 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards during such a landmark year for Winvic.

"As we celebrate 25 years in business, our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion remains central to our strategy and our culture. By supporting this year's programme, we want to continue creating meaningful opportunities for women across our sector, to ensure it is an industry where everyone can thrive."
