Sisk Infrastructure has been selected as one of three primary contractors for a substantial new framework dedicated to the replacement of concrete roads across England.

The £968m national Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework is set to run for six years, spanning the RIS3 funding period and extending into the beginning of RIS4.

The new agreement succeeds the previous concrete roads framework, under which Sisk Infrastructure successfully completed two major reconstruction projects. This latest phase maintains the strategic focus on full-depth reconstruction, aiming to replace life-expired concrete surfaces with modern, more durable designs.

The programme is a core component of National Highways' long-term renewal strategy for the motorways and major A-roads that form England's strategic road network. By transitioning from aging concrete to contemporary road surfaces, the initiative is designed to provide smoother and quieter journeys for motorists while increasing the overall resilience of the infrastructure.
