G F Tomlinson Secures Position on £15.6bn DfE Construction Framework 2025

G F Tomlinson has been named as a supplier on the Department for Education's (DfE) new Construction Framework 2025 (CF25). This appointment reinforces the Midlands contractor's established reputation for delivering high-quality educational infrastructure across England.

The company successfully secured places on two regional lots: Yorkshire and The Humber, and the North West & West Midlands. These lots cover individual projects with values ranging from £4.4 million to £12 million. This selection aligns with G F Tomlinson's strategic regional expansion, providing a robust pipeline of work across these key geographical areas.

The appointment marks the fourth consecutive time G F Tomlinson has been selected for a DfE construction framework, reflecting the firm's consistent expertise and performance in the education sector.

The CF25 framework is set to run for an initial six-year term, with an option for a two-year extension. It carries a total estimated value of up to £15.6 billion. Established to support the delivery of national educational infrastructure, the framework encompasses the design and construction of diverse facilities, including schools, academies, sixth-form colleges, university technical colleges, and further education centres.

Operating as a closed framework under the Procurement Act 2023, CF25 features two value bands across ten lots. While supervised by the DfE, the framework is also accessible to the wider public sector, including local authorities throughout England, to facilitate the delivery of various education schemes.

Andy Sewards, Chairman at G F Tomlinson, said: "We are extremely proud to have been appointed once again to the Department for Education's construction framework.

"Securing a place on CF25 for a fourth time is a testament to the quality of our teams, our collaborative approach and our ability to deliver outstanding educational environments.

"Being successful across Yorkshire and The Humber, as well as the North West and West Midlands, reflects our continued growth in these regions and our long-term commitment to supporting educational establishments through our well-designed, high-quality facilities."
