Everlast has announced the launch of its new Mental Wellbeing Card, a pocket-sized support resource being distributed across all Everlast construction sites and offices nationwide, in recognition of #TimeToTalk Day.
The initiative comes at a crucial time for the construction industry. Recent UK research shows that construction workers are up to four times more likely to die by suicide than the national average, with over 7,000 lives lost in the sector over the past decade. Studies also indicate that 73% of UK construction workers have been affected by mental illness, highlighting the urgent need for proactive mental health support across the industry. (Sky News)
