CEF has announced a major philanthropic achievement, reaching its goal of raising more than £1 million for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Since the partnership commenced in 2020, the company, supported by its staff and customers, has generated a total of £1,006,938.01 as of the end of December 2025.
The total amount raised throughout the duration of the collaboration has now reached £1,260,252.48. This funding has been secured through a diverse array of initiatives across the UK, including mountain climbs, head-shaves, golf days, and cycling challenges, alongside traditional raffles and bake sales.
The scale of the donation is set to have a direct impact on frontline services; for context, £1 million is capable of funding 13 Macmillan nurses for a full year, providing essential care to those navigating a cancer diagnosis.
Robin Tilling, Chief Operating Officer of CEF, stated: "Raising £1 million is an exceptional milestone that belongs to every team member in our business, together with the supplier partners and customers who contributed. I am incredibly proud of the spirit, teamwork, and generosity demonstrated over the past five years. Thank you for showing what we can achieve when we come together with kindness."
Michael Stickland, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy at Macmillan Cancer Support, added: "To our amazing partners at CEF, congratulations and a heartfelt thank you for raising a magnificent £1 million! Five years ago, we embarked on this journey with heart, strength, and ambition to support those living with cancer, and you have truly excelled. From regional football tournaments to cycling events and community coffee mornings, your commitment has been both impactful and joyful, significantly benefiting the nearly 3.5 million people living with cancer across the UK."
With this successful chapter of fundraising concluded, CEF is now looking toward its next charitable venture and has invited suggestions for future initiatives.
