Farrans' Clore Manor development for the Care Concern Group has been awarded full marks in a recent Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) audit.
The contractor is responsible for the design and build of a contemporary six-storey care home providing 108 bedrooms alongside underground parking.
Located on the south side of the Great North Way in the Borough of Barnet, the site previously housed a three-storey care home.
Care Concern Group is an independent operator with services across England, Scotland and Wales. Construction began in July 2025 and is due to continue until late 2027.
The CCS report recorded: "When it comes to the community, Clore Manor is all about encouraging polite and respectful language and behaviour around construction sites. It's dedicated to keeping things safe, avoiding unnecessary disruptions, and reducing nuisances for everyone nearby. It also works closely with locals to make a real, positive difference.
"On the environmental front, the focus is on protecting nature, cutting down negative impacts, and using resources wisely, with the goal of lowering carbon emissions across the value chain. It also partners with the community to improve the local environment in meaningful ways. As for the workforce, the Registered Activity aims to build an inclusive, diverse, and skilled team, while promoting safety and supporting both mental and physical health. Workspaces are kept clean, well-maintained, and free from physical and biological hazards."
