Vistry has signed contracts with Placefirst for 49 private rented sector (PRS) homes at the Milby Meadows development in Nuneaton, comprising four one-bed, 23 two-bed and 22 three-bed properties.

Agreed on behalf of the Develop Warwickshire joint venture (JV), the deal completes a four-partner consortium supporting the 1,700-home scheme.

Alongside Placefirst's 49 PRS homes, the JV's partner mix includes Platform Homes delivering 133 affordable properties, Sigma providing 38 PRS homes, and Leaf contributing 82 PRS units. The structure is designed to deliver a balanced range of tenures and a diverse, inclusive community.

Develop Warwickshire — a JV between Vistry, Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG) and Warwickshire County Council — is delivering 2,000 homes across the county to help tackle local housing need. The partnership has committed £2.5 billion to new homes and job creation, with a focus on sustainable development that aligns with local authority priorities and improves quality of life for residents.

Homes at Milby Meadows will use modern methods of construction and feature air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points. The scheme includes energy-efficient design, sustainable urban drainage systems and landscaped green spaces.

Phase 1 infrastructure is complete, including a northern link road connecting surrounding developments and providing access to the new Higham Lane North Academy, which opened in September 2025 for pupils aged 11–16. Construction of the first 530 homes and associated public open space is well under way.

On completion, Milby Meadows will comprise 1,700 two, three and four-bedroom homes, a primary and a secondary school, a local centre with retail and community facilities, extensive public open spaces, play areas, a habitat pond and multi-functional green infrastructure, alongside new roads and highway upgrades including on the A444, plus footpaths linking to neighbouring developments.
