Turley has bolstered its planning capability in the South West and Wales with the appointment of three senior professionals from BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Kevin Hunt, Ashley Bailey and Conor Layton have joined the firm as Senior Director, Associate Director and Senior Planner respectively, all based in Turley's Bristol office. The hires represent a significant investment in the continued growth of Turley’s established Bristol team.
The trio bring extensive experience across high-profile urban regeneration, housing, education, sport and leisure, and renewable energy projects, alongside strong regional relationships that complement Turley’s existing client base.
Kevin Hunt, formerly Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate's Bristol office and previously with JLL for 19 years, said: "Turley's purpose-driven approach, employee ownership model and commitment to quality consultancy made this an easy choice. We’re excited to build on the team’s success in the region and to hit the ground running for clients, advising on major regeneration and mixed-use projects."
Hunt has led flagship schemes including the University of Bristol's Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus and brings more than two decades of experience advising developers, landowners and public sector clients.
Ashley Bailey joins as Associate Director, specialising in complex urban regeneration schemes. His experience includes leading planning strategies for projects at Frome Gateway, the redevelopment of Strode College, and solar installations across the UK.
Conor Layton brings recent experience as lead planner on the redevelopment of Worcester Warriors' Sixways Stadium, residential-led regeneration of Ham Mill, Stroud, and new lab-enabled office space as part of the University of Bristol's Temple Quarter programme.
Stephen Bell, Turley's Chief Executive, said: "We acted proactively and we're delighted to bring Kevin, Ashley and Conor on board. Their reputation, experience and live pipeline of projects support the continued growth of our South West and Wales team, including the potential to deliver important regeneration schemes in the Bristol market. They are already well embedded in the South West market and aligned with our values, client base and strategic direction."
