Contractor Clegg Construction has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Andy Bore as commercial manager, further enhancing its commercial capability across key projects and the wider business.
In his new role, Bore will act as commercial lead on the Midway Karparc project in Newcastle-under-Lyme, an innovative redevelopment that will transform a former 1960s multi-storey car park into residential apartments. The scheme is being delivered by Clegg Construction on behalf of Capital & Centric. Alongside this flagship project, Bore will provide commercial and contractual support across the business and contribute to the development, training and mentoring of the commercial team.
Bore brings 24 years of experience in the construction sector, having worked with major contractors including Interserve, Kier, Thomas Vale Construction, nmcn and most recently GF Tomlinson. His career spans a wide variety of new-build and refurbishment projects, including schools, shopping centres, leisure centres and swimming pools, office buildings, student accommodation, high-end housing, biomass facilities, heritage developments and blue light schemes.
