Procast Group Secures £450m UK-Wide CHIC Multi-Element Framework Lot

Procast Group, an award-winning principal contractor headquartered in Hamilton, has been successfully appointed to the highly competitive Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Multi-Element Framework.

The firm has secured a place on Lot 2 of the UK-wide framework, which carries a total value of £450 million. Lot 2 specifically governs the provision of works and services for residential properties and their associated communal areas, targeting multiple elements of the built environment, including the delivery of responsive repairs and void works.

The appointment provides CHIC's extensive membership base with an efficient, fully compliant procurement pathway for essential property services. This enables the delivery of whole-life building solutions covering both external and internal fabric elements.

The Multi-Element Framework is structured to run for four years, from 2025 to 2029. The selection process was highly contested, with Procast Group joining a select group of 33 firms chosen to meet the diverse needs of housing providers across the consortium. The framework is accessible to over 200 CHIC members, which are primarily social landlords (housing associations and local authorities), though it also supports entities within the health and education sectors.

Under the scope of the framework agreement, Procast Group is authorised to undertake a vast array of services, including:

• Building Works: New construction, extensions, alterations, demolition, and groundworks.

• Fabric Maintenance: Roofing, insulation, building plastics, windows, and doors.

• Core Infrastructure: Electrical systems, wiring, and heating services.

• Site Preparation: Remediation and foundation work.

• Environmental Enhancements: External environmental improvements and communal area enhancements.

Derek Innes, Owner and Managing Director of Procast Group, commented on the strategic importance of the framework position: "We are delighted to be appointed to CHIC's Multiple Elements Framework as we continue to expand our contribution to high-quality property services.

"This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity for Procast Group to contribute to the effective delivery of crucial works and services for CHIC's members.

"We look forward to delivering exceptional services and fostering long-lasting partnerships."

Procast Group currently employs more than 130 staff and is a prominent market leader in multi-trade contracting projects and retrofitting work across Scotland and the North of England. The group operates from several locations, including offices in Aberdeen, West Lothian, and Dumfries.

CHIC is a member-owned, not-for-profit organisation focused on delivering commercial support and fully compliant procurement solutions, collaborating with the supply chain to drive improved environmental outcomes, secure savings, and add social value for its members.
