Westpoint 'Go Big' With Order for 76 Thwaites Dumpers

Redditch based Westpoint Construction, the progressive midlands-based civil engineering contractor, has taken delivery of 76 front tip dumpers from Thwaites, via regional distributor BTE Plant Sales.

With an ever-growing order book and reputation, the driving force behind the decision to acquire this fleet of dumpers, was that Westpoint wanted to find a manufacturer with the dumper range and specification that would match the exacting Westpoint safety and performance needs. Ultimately protecting its clients, the well-being of its team, whilst maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction.

"This is an exciting time for West Point, as we take delivery of these 76 new Thwaites dumpers. A deal I understand to be one of the largest that BTE has secured in the UK this year. I would like to personally thank Rebecca Bryson and the team for their attention and support in delivering what has been, for us, a first-class experience. This order is really about our people, creating the best possible environment for our guys out on site, who work in all manner of conditions each day."

Mr Madahar concluded: "Aligning our investments, with our business strategy is the goal, so providing state of the art equipment to ensure our site teams can carry out their works safely and efficiently – Is something we are very proud of."

With new projects being regularly secured across central England, this is a period of continued growth for Westpoint. A business that choses to continually invest in its own fleet of dumpers from Thwaites and the safety and wellbeing of its operators.

BTE MD Rebecca Bryson said: "Westpoint and BTE have worked together for several years. I am delighted to confirm that this is the largest deal to date and equally delighted to see the Westpoint business go from strength to strength. I would like to say a huge thank you to Louise, Mick and Mike for their continued business and support, which is very much appreciated".

The order consisted of the following 76 x front tip dumpers:

• 24 x 3-tonne front tip

• 38 x 6-tonne front tip cabbed

• 14 x 9-tonne front tip cabbed

The 6-tonne & 9-tonne cabbed dumpers have all be delivered with twin LED beacons & road lights, a toe-bar, screen guard, hi-vis steps, a spacious cab and a hydrostatic transmission… giving operators a smoother, safer drive…whilst reducing servicing costs and fuel consumption.

Many thanks from the team for continuing to choose Thwaites via BTE Plant Sales.

There is a great video on the Thwaites YouTube channel that shows a controlled impact test of the cabs fitted to Thwaites dumpers that is well worth checking out.
