Story Homes has donated £500 to Tanfield Lea Primary School in County Durham, helping the school purchase new outdoor play equipment for pupils.
The contribution is part of the housebuilder's ongoing commitment to supporting local communities near its developments. The school sits close to Story Homes’ Heritage Fields development in Tanfield, where the second phase of homes has recently launched. The new equipment is expected to enhance playtime, encouraging outdoor activity and social interaction among children.
Kye Bradley, Sales Director for Story Homes North East, said: "We're really pleased to support Tanfield Lea Primary School with this donation. Encouraging children to be active and enjoy the outdoors is so important for their wellbeing, and we hope the new play equipment will bring plenty of smiles and fun to pupils for years to come. It’s great to be able to give something back to the Tanfield community as part of our ongoing investment in the areas where we build."
Mark Temple, Headteacher at Tanfield Lea Primary School, added: "We are very grateful to Story Homes for their generous donation. The new play equipment has already made a big difference to our outdoor space and is being enjoyed daily by our pupils. It's fantastic to have the support of a local company that takes such an active interest in our community."
