Jet Plant Hire has announced a major investment in a range of new, sustainable, high-specification equipment as part of its ambitious five-year growth strategy.

Operating for 36 years, the company has built a strong reputation for good business ethics, robust processes, and a commitment to sustainability. The latest additions to the fleet include a Wirtgen W100Fi road planer, with two more Wirtgen machines expected to join in the coming months. The new model delivers a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions compared with its predecessor and features a performance tracker to provide customers with transparency and efficiency on every project.

In addition, Jet is expanding its fleet with five new Volvo Tridem trucks. These eight-wheel vehicles offer the manoeuvrability of six-wheel tippers while increasing payload capacity and reducing both CO2 emissions and congestion. They follow the success of six Tridem trucks already operated by the company.
