AFI Rentals Adds 40m Hinowa Spider Lift To Its Hybrid Fleet

AFI Rentals has expanded its specialist spider lift fleet with the addition of the new Hinowa Spider Lift, offering a 40m working height and 17m outreach.

The Hinowa 40m combines precision, compactness, and hybrid power, allowing operators to work safely and efficiently across a wide range of environments, from construction and maintenance sites to sensitive indoor areas and complex infrastructure projects.

Powered by a hybrid diesel–electric system, the 40.18 delivers high performance with low emissions and reduced noise levels, aligning with AFI’s commitment to sustainability. Its compact chassis and non-marking tracks make it ideal for restricted access and low ground pressure applications, while the advanced control system ensures smooth, stable operation at full outreach.

The Hinowa 40m is an impressive addition to our fleet, offering exceptional reach and flexibility for complex projects while supporting our carbon reduction goals."

The machine joins AFI's growing hybrid and electric range, which now accounts for more than 70% of its UK rental fleet. It is available to hire nationwide through AFI's specialist Spiderlift division.
