Pall-Ex Group, a leading name in palletised freight distribution, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Claire Screen as its new Commercial Director, as the company continues to advance its ambitious growth plans for 2026 and beyond.

With more than 25 years of experience across the transport, supply chain and port sectors, Claire brings a wealth of expertise in developing and implementing national and international commercial strategies. Claire's appointment is part of a series of strategic updates within Pall-Ex’s award-winning commercial division. Louise Andrews has been promoted to Business Development Director, while Jonathan Weir moves into the newly created position of National Business Development Manager, focusing on the network’s corporate accounts.

The commercial team, led by National Sales Manager Gareth Fenton, also includes seven regional commercial managers (RCMs) positioned across the UK. These teams work closely with Pall-Ex’s shareholder members to promote the company’s full range of logistics solutions. Together, they will support the network’s long-term commercial strategy as Pall-Ex prepares to relocate to a new, purpose-built, state-of-the-art flagship hub in 2026.

On her appointment, she said: "It is exciting to be joining Pall-Ex at such a pivotal time in its growth journey. It is already a company recognised for its successful network, innovation, and exceptional standards that are visible across the business every day. I look forward to working with the team and our shareholder members to continue driving growth and value for our customers, exploring new avenues in the industry and launching new initiatives where any gaps in the market may exist."
