Construction firm Kier has been selected deliver Norfolk County Council's £700m highways and infrastructure works term services contract.

Across the 9,836km network, Kier will provide surfacing, planned maintenance, bridge and structure schemes and maintenance, temporary works design, surface dressing, and cyclical maintenance including drainage cleansing and grass cutting.

The contract will start on 1 April 2026 for a period of up to 14 years.

It is designed to ensure that essential highway networks are maintained to the highest standards, future-proofed to meet the challenges of the growing population in the county and resilient to climate change.
