Construction firm Galliford Try has been selected to replace of St Francis Catholic Primary School, part of the Mother Teresa Catholic Academy Trust on its existing site in South Ascot, Berkshire.
The scheme is under the Department for Education's (DfE) 2021 Construction Framework (Medium Value Band).
The new £11m school building will replace the existing teaching block and will include the relocation of the St Francis statue within the building and grounds. The design will also use building materials chosen to complement both the adjacent church and the surrounding woodland environment.
Gavin Bridge, Managing Director for Galliford Try Building Southern, said: "We are proud to be supporting the Department for Education and the Mother Teresa Catholic Academy Trust in delivering this important project for the South Ascot community. Providing high-quality, sustainable learning environments is central to our work, and we look forward to collaborating closely with the school and local stakeholders to create a new building that reflects the values and setting of St Francis."
