Caddick Construction has been appointed to build a new £7.9 million housing development at Isledane in Hull, marking its second residential scheme for Hull City Council.

The project will deliver 34 new homes for rent, with preliminary groundwork valued at £1.6 million being carried out by Caddick Civil Engineering, the company's sister business and groundwork specialist.

The new Isledane scheme builds on Caddick's ongoing work in Hull, including the nearby Dane Park Road neighbourhood, where 99 affordable homes are currently under construction.

The project has been procured through Efficiency North’s EN:Procure New Build Framework, designed to offer a flexible and cost-effective route for both small and large-scale housing developments.

The development will include not only the 34 high-quality homes but also associated infrastructure, external works, and soft landscaping. Delivered in tandem with Dane Park Road, the scheme is scheduled for completion in 2027.

These new homes form part of Hull City Council’s wider regeneration of Orchard Park, focused on delivering modern, energy-efficient and high-quality homes for social rent.
