Morgan Sindall Construction's Midlands division has been appointed to deliver a major new secondary school and sixth form at Bramcote College, in a project led by The White Hills Park Trust.

The multi-million development will see a new three-storey, five-form entry facility built on the same site as the existing college, providing a modern and inclusive learning environment for up to 750 secondary pupils and 200 sixth form students.

The contractor has been tasked with enabling works to prepare the site for construction of the steel-frame, brick-façade building. This will include detailed surveys, ground investigations, service diversions and the demolition of the current sports hall.

Designed by Arc Partnership – a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE – the new school will be carefully integrated into the character of the surrounding community while maximising the quality of teaching and learning spaces.

Main construction is due to begin in 2026 and will be delivered in phases to minimise disruption for students and staff.

The scheme has been procured through the SCAPE Construction framework, with a strong focus on delivering wider community value. Morgan Sindall has committed to sourcing labour and subcontractors from within 20 miles of the site and is targeting a social value return of more than 30%, ensuring that investment directly benefits the local economy and people.
