ACS Construction Group Launches ACS Multi Utility Ltd

ACS Construction Group, a leader in civil engineering, construction, and infrastructure services, is pleased to announce the formation of ACS Multi Utility, expanding the Group’s capabilities and reinforcing its commitment to delivering integrated and innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK.

Backed by a team with over 20 years of experience in the utilities sector, ACS Multi Utility is a Lloyds-accredited Independent Connection Provider (ICP), fully accredited for NERS, GIRS, and WIRS, with in-house expertise across gas, water, electricity, and fibre networks. In addition, the company offers full multi-utility design and installation capabilities, enabling streamlined, end-to-end delivery for developers, landowners, and energy clients.

Expanding Group Capabilities

The acquisition creates a powerful combination of civil engineering, utility infrastructure, and construction expertise, enabling ACS to deliver fully integrated, end-to-end solutions.

• Civil Engineering Excellence – ACS Construction Group and ACS Midlands have a long-standing reputation for delivering complex earthworks, remediation, groundworks, infrastructure, construction, building, and building services, as well as large-scale civil projects across the UK. This expertise underpins the delivery of major renewable energy schemes, industrial sites, transport infrastructure, and strategic frameworks.

• Utility Infrastructure Delivery – ACS Multi Utility brings specialist capability as a Lloyds-accredited ICP, holding NERS, GIRS, and WIRS accreditations, and offering full design, installation, and adoption services across gas, water, electricity, and fibre networks. This allows developers and landowners to streamline utility delivery through a single trusted provider.

• Integrated Construction Solutions – With earthworks, construction and utilities now under one Group, clients benefit from a seamless service that covers everything from design, civils, and utility connections through to renewable energy integration and long-term asset operation. This reduces reliance on multiple contractors, improves programme certainty, and drives greater value for clients.

Together, ACS Construction Group and ACS Multi Utility are uniquely positioned to support framework clients such as National Grid, SSE, and Scottish Power, and to deliver for leading organisations including GE Vernova, Siemens Energy, Essar Fuels, and Mitsubishi. Projects span major earthworks and remediation, civil works, multi-utility infrastructure, hydrogen infrastructure, National Grid substations, new build substations, and renewable energy assets such as solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), CHP, peaking plants, EV charging, and waste-to-energy facilities.

ACS Construction Group and its subsidiary, ACS Multi Utility, are also working with companies and landowners to maximise the potential of their land and energy portfolios. This includes developing innovative strategies to harvest and enhance renewable energy generation and storage, combining civil engineering expertise with integrated energy and utility solutions.

A Fully Funded, Turnkey Model

ACS also brings to market a private investment solution for businesses and landowners. With no Capex required from the client, projects are fully funded through Tier 1 investment partners and delivered under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This approach provides:

• Immediate reductions in energy costs and grid dependency over lifecycle of asset

• Energy Stability

• Improved ESG compliance and carbon reduction outcomes

• A fully managed solution covering funding, design, construction, operation, and maintenance

Unlike many others, ACS manages the entire process in-house, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and optimised returns.

Driving Growth and Innovation

"The creation of ACS Multi Utility significantly strengthens our offering as a Group," said Paul Grady, CEO of ACS Construction Group Ltd. "Combining civil engineering, construction, building, utility infrastructure, and renewable energy expertise under one roof, our group can deliver integrated solutions at every stage of a project. This combined offering provides clients with a seamless, fully funded, and future-ready solution to meet their infrastructure and energy needs."
