The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has announced the winners of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards 2025.
The awards ceremony, which celebrates outstanding individuals in the sector, was held on Thursday, September 18, at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.
Katy Robinson, a Senior Project Manager with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and a Campaign Leader for the National Association of Women in Construction for Yorkshire (NAWIC), was named the UK's Most Influential Overall.
The awards also recognised winners across several categories, including:
• Local Heroes: Recognising exceptional women working in operational or site roles from nine different UK regions.

- East: Louise Tingley
- Northeast: Katy Robinson
- Northwest: Fiona Hull
- Southeast: Lisa-Jayne Cook
- Southwest: Nicola Bird

- Scotland: Amy Dougan

• Women on the Tools: For those working in a specific trade who are inspiring the next generation: Katie Quinlivan – a Multi Skilled Operative with Mears Group
• The Influencer: For individuals who have made a significant impact at an organisational or national level: Emma Fletcher - Contractor
• Allies: The only category that recognises individuals of any gender who support inclusion and change in the industry: The Operator Skills Hub Team
• One to Watch: For newcomers who are leading the way in championing equality, diversity, and inclusion: Molly Shaw
• SME / Trade Leader: Recognising women who lead small to medium enterprises or independent businesses: Liz Gilligan
• Educator in Construction: Celebrating those who shape the next generation through education or mentoring: Vickie Mather
• Designer: Celebrating leadership in architecture, engineering, or design: Harriet Webb
• Client: Recognising women on the client side who have driven transformational change: Claire Michelle Evans
Deborah Madden, Executive Director, Nations Engagement at CITB, highlighted the importance of paving the way for more women to join the industry by celebrating trailblazers. She congratulated all the winners and shortlisted candidates for helping to build a positive pathway for future generations. Madden added that the awards are intended to encourage more women to consider a career in construction, as attracting people from diverse backgrounds is key to bridging the workforce gap.
