RBL Appoints South Central Residential Operations Manager

Roger Bullivant Limited (RBL) has appointed Kris Hand as Operations Manager for its South Central Residential business.

Kris returns to the company after previously joining RBL in 2000 as a Contract Engineer, where he introduced robotic instrumentation to improve the accuracy and efficiency of setting out practices, now widely used in precast foundation systems.

With more than 25 years of experience in piling and ground engineering, Kris has held senior operational roles across the industry, specialising in precast foundation systems and leading teams in design, installation, and commercial delivery. At RBL, he will focus on supporting residential projects in the South Central region, prioritising collaboration and effective communication.

Kris said: "I'm most excited by the opportunity to support the next generation of engineering talent. RBL has always fostered a culture of trust and growth, and I'm happy to add my support to Gareth’s team in any way I can."

Gareth Griffiths, Residential Divisional Manager, added: "Kris brings a rare combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and genuine care for people. His experience across the industry will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our residential offering and drive consistency across the region and wider business. We're thrilled to have him back."

Kris's immediate priorities include getting to know the team, understanding the full scope of RBL's residential products and services, and identifying opportunities to standardise working practices across the South Central region. His approach to operational excellence is rooted in safety, clear communication, and drawing on the collective expertise of the team.

With sustainability and efficiency at the heart of RBL’s operations, Kris's return comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to balance its residential and non-residential portfolio, ensuring long-term resilience and growth.
