ACT Secures ROSPA Gold Award For Health And Safety Excellence

ACT is proud to announce that it has received the RoSPA Gold Award, recognising its outstanding health and safety performance.

Part of the globally respected RoSPA Health and Safety Awards programme, with almost 2,000 entries from nearly 60 countries, the Gold Award is a benchmark of excellence in safety.

This achievement reflects ACT's unwavering commitment to safety, one of our five core values, and demonstrates how collaboration, innovation and proactive processes create safer working environments across both sites and offices.

At the centre of this success is Tim Jeeves, ACT's Health & Safety Manager and Mental Health First Aider, whose people-first and solutions-focused approach has raised the bar across the business. Over the past year, Tim has introduced important improvements, including moving ACT’s health and safety management system onto Procore, giving teams access to richer data and real-time monitoring. These insights empower team members to act swiftly and confidently, ensuring safer sites and uninterrupted project delivery.

Commenting on the award, Tim said: "RoSPA awards are among the most respected health and safety schemes in the world. Securing Gold is a testament to everyone's hard work, creativity and determination to protect people both in and outside the workplace. This award reflects the culture of respect and care we've built together at ACT."

Earning this recognition also reinforces the trust that staff, clients and partners place in ACT to uphold the highest standards. From engaging teams in new procedures to consistently achieving strong safety results, ACT's collaborative approach continues to set new expectations for the super-prime construction industry

Cameron de Wys, Founding Director at ACT, added: "When I first heard we had won the RoSPA Gold Award, I felt immense pride in what our team has achieved. Safety has always been at the heart of what we do. What makes this award special is not just the systems, training and processes we've put in place, but the real consistency we're now seeing across projects. More than compliance, it reflects the culture and buy-in across the business, from management through to subcontractors and operatives. Seeing operatives contribute ideas and improvements is a great sign that safety is truly owned by the whole team. This Gold Award shows our collective commitment to looking out for one another and delivering projects responsibly and with care, proving safety and excellence go hand in hand."
