Preserve And Protect Your Cleanroom With A Guardtech Group Cleanroom Service Plan

Suffolk-based construction experts offering elite packages to ensure all service, maintenance and decontamination needs are taken care of.

THE GUARDTECH GROUP are ready to help you preserve and protect your controlled environments for the long term with their comprehensive Cleanroom Service Plans.

The Suffolk-based cleanroom construction specialists recently revamped their Service Team with the addition of experienced Service Manager John Merrill.

Merrill’s introduction will help to elevate a Service Team that is already providing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits and emergency call-outs for clients all across the country.

Alongside that, the Guardtech Group Decontamination Team will continue to offer their wide range of deep clean services, either to support wider service agreements or as separate decon programmes.

Merrill, who has worked in cleanroom aftercare services for almost a decade, is excited to get stuck in at Guardtech, where he believes the platform is set beautifully for him and his team to develop an already strong unit into the UK's leading cleanroom service & maintenance provider.

"We make ISO 14644 and EU GMP compliance the foundation of our Cleanroom Service Plans," he said. "Our priority is ensuring your facility is validated, requalified, and performing at peak efficiency, so you meet regulatory standards and pass inspections with confidence.

"Beyond validation, our engineers carry out full system checks – and we can supply critical spare parts to keep your cleanroom operational. Our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes – including air handling & filtration, environmental monitoring & controls, lighting & electrical and mechanical & structural components – are designed to reduce the risk of unexpected failures and keep your facility running smoothly.

"With a variety of service contract options available, the Guardtech Group provide the validation, testing and maintenance you need for long-term performance, reliability and compliance."

Those comprehensive Cleanroom Service Plans are usually composed over one, three or five-year cycles.

The wide-ranging agreements include a number of PPM options, including HVAC upgrades, general repairs, filter integrity testing, gauge calibration and Environmental Monitoring System and Building Management System servicing.

As well as standard cleanroom validations and post-build commissioning, the Group’s Service Department offer a wide range of testing, including temperature, humidity, lux and noise level testing.

The Decontamination Team offer everything from builders' cleans and pre-validation cleans through to hydrogen peroxide fogging, bioburden testing and complex bespoke deep clean packages.

They follow client SOPs and use specific validated chemicals and equipment when required, are certified to work at height and operate to GMP standards.

They perform site surveys to get a holistic understanding of clients’ facility layouts and propose their cleaning regimes accordingly.

Their most experienced operatives, Decon Manager Lee Burton and Programme Manager Sarah Mayes, have more than 30 years' experience working in decontamination.

And the duo are urging potential new clients to ensure they’re giving their cleanrooms the TLC they need to stay in optimum condition.

"Regular and thorough decontamination is critical, whatever the application," said Burton. "We've performed decon programmes, of varying complexity, for pretty much every industry going and, whilst the layouts, processes or equipment set-ups may be different each time, the need for a high level of cleanliness is constant."

"Achieving the level of deep clean that's required is a real burden for businesses," Mayes added. "We're here to take away that burden – and the same goes for the servicing side of things, too.

"Any applications out there, that are finding the upkeep of their facility a strain, we'd urge them to get in touch. We have an experienced team of knowledgeable and highly skilled operatives that have provided these services for some of the UK's leading lights in Life Science and High-Tech Engineering and we hope to continue to build an ever-wider client base in the future."
