GTAccess Powers Ahead With An Advanced Solar Energy System

GTAccess Ltd has taken its commitment to sustainability to electrifying new heights, with its latest solar energy system delivering both environmental impact and energy independence. The cutting-edge system now makes the company's Training Head Office in Bromsgrove, fully energy self-sufficient.

At the heart of the system is a high-performance setup powered by Fox ESS, featuring five 30kW hybrid inverters—delivering a total of 150kW of highly efficient energy conversion. These inverters are specifically designed to optimise the use of solar power and battery storage, enabling seamless switching between solar, battery, and grid power when required - maximising efficiency and minimising reliance on external power sources.

Supporting this is a robust battery storage system, which ensures continuous energy availability, even during periods of low sunlight or peak usage. The combination of solar generation and intelligent storage allows GTAccess to operate entirely independently of the grid, significantly reducing both energy costs and environmental impact. Furthermore, the company has exported over 55 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity back to the national grid, directly contributing to the UK's renewable energy supply.

"This investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to sustainability through smart, efficient technology," said Jon Till, Managing Director, GTAccess Ltd. "Achieving full energy independence is a major milestone for us and sets a clear direction for our future operations."

GTAccess remains one of the UK's leading access equipment providers and continues to lead by example in adopting innovative, eco-conscious infrastructure.
