An impact damaged 2022 JCB 140X LC Tracked Excavator is now available for auction on Salvue.com.
The machine was loaded onto a trailer in May 2025 when it collided with a motorway bridge, resulting in the excavator becoming lodged between the roadway and the underside of the bridge. The rear of the unit subsequently fell off the trailer onto the road surface.
To free the upturned machine, the boom was removed. Damage includes, but may not be limited to, the boom, cab, windscreen, chassis, engine bay cover, and ROPS. At the time of inspection, the engine bay cover had sustained impact damage and could not be removed, preventing a full assessment of the engine.
The excavator does not start or run, and the final drives have not been removed. The current location may assist with arranging crane services on site to aid with uplift, though costs for this service are to be confirmed.
Interested buyers can view full salvage details and place bids through Salvue's online salvage auction platform, featuring this and other salvage sale opportunities.
