Stoke Depot Powers Up With Solar

GTAccess is proud to announce the successful installation of our 3rd solar power system at its Stoke depot, delivered in partnership with M J Wallace Electrical Contracting.

This marks a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to improving energy efficiency and reducing our environmental impact across all operations.

The new solar array, will soon be fully operational, will generate a substantial portion of the depot's electricity needs, helping to reduce reliance on grid power and cutting overall carbon emissions. By making the switch to renewable energy, GTAccess is taking meaningful action to future-proof its business and contribute positively to the fight against climate change.

"We're thrilled to bring solar energy to our Stoke facility," said Jonathan Till MD at GTAccess. "This installation is part of a wider sustainability strategy focused on cleaner energy, smarter infrastructure, and reducing our footprint. M J Wallace Electrical Contracting have been fantastic throughout the process, delivering high-quality work with professionalism and efficiency."

GTAccess has long been recognised as a forward-thinking access equipment provider, and this installation builds on the company's existing environmental initiatives, which include:

• Investing in electric and hybrid equipment

• Reducing emissions in its transport fleet

• Enhancing recycling and waste management processes

• Promoting sustainability awareness across the business

This latest project is one of several green upgrades currently in development, with more depot installations and energy-saving improvements planned in the coming months.

As one of the UK's leading independent access hire specialists, GTAccess is proud to lead by example, demonstrating that even in heavy equipment industries, sustainability and innovation can go hand-in-hand.
