Avant Homes has acquired a nine-acre site in Sutton-in-Ashfield and secured planning permission to build an £22.8 million residential scheme.
The development, named Silverhill Edge and located off Fisher Close, will deliver 84 new homes. The site will feature a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties, all designed to be practical and energy-efficient.
Construction is due to begin in early autumn, with the first homes expected to go on sale in November. A show home will open in spring 2026, with the first residents anticipated to move in by summer the same year.
As part of the scheme, Avant Homes has pledged £725,000 in community contributions to support improvements to local education, healthcare, and public transport infrastructure.
A spokesperson for Avant Homes said: "Silverhill Edge will allow us to demonstrate our commitment to providing quality new homes for everyone in locations where people want to live.
"This site creates an opportunity to provide buyers looking to move to Sutton-in-Ashfield with our popular range of practically designed, energy-efficient homes.
"We now look forward to starting works at the development and creating this new, thriving community for the local area."
