Planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of Hampton Dene Primary School on Church Road, Hereford, paving the way for modern, inclusive, and sustainable education facilities for the local community.
The approved scheme includes the addition of two new classrooms designed to enhance the learning environment and improve accessibility. It will also expand the school’s Language and Communication Centre, providing more spaces for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As part of the redevelopment, the school will benefit from an upgraded parking area and improved outdoor spaces.
Construction is scheduled to begin this autumn, with completion expected by early summer 2026.
The project forms part of a wider investment programme in education across Herefordshire, aimed at ensuring every child has access to high-quality learning spaces.
