Plans have been lodged for a new housing development that would see 67 properties built off Liverpool Road in Whitchurch.
The scheme, proposed by Persimmon Homes West Midlands, includes a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes, ranging from maisonettes and terraced houses to semi-detached and detached properties.
All homes would be constructed to updated building regulations aimed at improving energy efficiency, with solar panels and electric vehicle charging points installed as standard.
Persimmon has confirmed that the project will include a proportion of affordable housing. The developer has also pledged financial contributions towards enhancing local green spaces, with further details on biodiversity net gain and landscaping to be released as the application progresses.
If approved, the development would form part of the ongoing growth of Whitchurch, bringing a variety of housing options to the area.
