Pupils from Caister Junior School have officially opened a new playpark at the Mulberry Park development, a major new housing site by Persimmon Homes Anglia.
The students had the honour of being the first to explore the playpark’s range of equipment, which includes slides, swings and climbing frames. After a fun-filled session, the children were treated to ice cream to mark the special occasion.
The playpark is a central feature of the Mulberry Park development and highlights Persimmon’s focus on building community-friendly spaces alongside new homes. The opening coincides with the arrival of the first residents at the site in Caister.
Jorden Knell, Sales Director of Persimmon Homes Anglia, said: "We were pleased to welcome Caister Junior School pupils to help open the new play facilities at Mulberry Park. Providing well-designed open spaces is an important part of our approach, and this play area will offer a safe and enjoyable environment for local families as the community continues to grow."
The new playpark is now officially open to the public and sits at the heart of the Mulberry Park development.
