Galliford Try has been awarded the prestigious Green Economy Mark by the London Stock Exchange, recognising the company's significant contribution to environmentally sustainable activities.
The Green Economy Mark is reserved for companies and funds that derive at least 50% of their revenues from products and services that help meet critical environmental objectives, as outlined in FTSE Russell's Green Revenues Classification System. The mark highlights those operating in sectors such as construction and infrastructure that are actively contributing to the transition to a greener economy.
Galliford Try joins a select group of just 101 London-listed companies to have achieved this status in 2025, marking the first time the company has received the recognition.
Kris Hampson, Chief Financial Officer for Galliford Try and chair of the company’s ESG Committee, said: "As a progressive construction business, sustainability is always at the heart of how we do business. We are conscious of the difference we can make by driving innovation to create a more environmentally friendly built environment, and we are delighted that we have been able to meet the criteria for the Green Economy Mark."
