Skanska UK has announced the appointment of Dean Sporn as Operations Director within its Infrastructure business.

Sporn will officially join the company in early 2026, bringing with him three decades of civil engineering and leadership experience from both the UK and overseas.

Sporn is currently Director of Enhancements within the Major Projects directorate at National Highways, a role he has held for the past eight years. During his tenure, he has overseen several nationally significant infrastructure schemes, including the A417 Missing Link, M25 Junction 10 and A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross.

Before joining National Highways, Sporn served as General Manager at CPB Contractors, an Australian-based infrastructure firm, where he led a $2 billion portfolio across New South Wales and New Zealand. His responsibilities spanned a variety of sectors, including road, rail, tunnelling and healthcare.
