Kier has promoted Rebecca Boundy to the role of Managing Director, Clients and Markets, elevating her to the senior leadership team within the company’s Construction division.
Previously serving as Public Sector Director, Boundy will now oversee a team of sector directors spanning education, healthcare, defence and justice. She will also lead the Construction division’s strategic bidding capability, a key component of Kier’s growth strategy.
Boundy has been with Kier since 2015 and has steadily progressed through the organisation. Her previous roles include work in the Strategic Projects business, where she led pre-construction for the award-winning HMP Five Wells, and as Justice Sector Director, heading Kier's three Alliances for the Ministry of Justice.
The promotion comes as Kier continues to expand across its core markets, following a series of major project wins in 2025. These include the £684 million HMP Glasgow project, a £123 million teaching and learning facility at the University of Southampton, and a position on Pagabo’s £814 million Facilities Management framework.
Boundy expressed her enthusiasm for the new challenge and highlighted the company’s strategic alignment with long-term government infrastructure plans.
She said: "I'm thrilled to be taking on this new role and the opportunity it provides to drive Kier Construction's strategic delivery across the public and private sectors,” she said.
"As a strategic supplier to government, Kier is well positioned to support the ambitions set out in the 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy and, in my new role, my team and I will be working closely with clients to support their goals and ambitions over this period."
