Watts Group, a prominent property and construction consultancy, has today published the 30th edition of its widely respected 'Watts Pocket Handbook', marking nearly a decade since its previous release.
Recognised as a vital resource for professionals across the built environment, this latest edition introduces a more collaborative approach, for the first time incorporating insights from Watts' own experts across diverse disciplines. These areas range from legislation, property ownership, contracts and procurement, to innovation and ESG, offering the most comprehensive industry perspective to date.
The handbook, compiled by Watts' Group Chairman, Trevor Rushton, was initially showcased at Watts' inaugural UKREiiF fringe event. At the event, attendees participated in a raffle to win copies of the new edition, simultaneously raising funds for the charity Mental Health UK (MHUK), with whom Watts has partnered this year.
Published today, Tuesday, 8 July 2025, the updated handbook features over 750 pages of revised content, complemented by vibrant colour illustrations. It continues its legacy as an indispensable guide for surveyors, engineers, architects, project managers, developers, facilities managers, and students involved in the built environment.
Trevor Rushton commented on the handbook's enduring purpose: "The latest edition of the Watts Pocket Handbook is, as it always has been, aimed at providing clear, accessible technical guidance to professionals at every stage of their careers. This edition renews that commitment, responding to the evolving needs of the property and construction industries."
The 30th edition is now available for purchase in both print and digital formats. Watts is planning an official launch celebration in September, with further details to be announced.
