Galliford Try's Facilities Management (GTFM) small works team has completed a major refurbishment of Woodside House in Annesley, delivering a modern, functional workspace for the company's Environment business.
The 22-week project, aimed at revitalising the office and boosting staff presence, was officially handed back following extensive upgrades that reflect Galliford Try's commitment to employee wellbeing and sustainability.
The transformation included a full office refurbishment, featuring the installation of new kitchen facilities, updated flooring and furniture, and the replacement of all toilets, now including a new accessible toilet on the first floor. New glass partitions with modern manifestations and energy-efficient LED lighting were also added.
To further support modern working practices, the redesign introduced dedicated collaboration areas and Zoom rooms. The building’s air conditioning system was also reconfigured, with additional units installed to improve climate control throughout the space.
As part of its sustainability focus, Galliford Try installed three double 22kW electric vehicle chargers on-site, encouraging greener commuting options for staff.
