Hometrack has been awarded a major contract by Homes England to deliver comprehensive housing market intelligence that will underpin the government's regeneration and housing delivery efforts over the next four years.

The UK-based property analytics firm will supply detailed data and insights to the government’s housing and regeneration agency, supporting evidence-based policy development and investment planning. The three-year contract, which starts on 1 April 2025 and runs until 31 March 2028, includes the option to extend for an additional year.

Homes England plays a key role in implementing government housing policy, helping to unlock land for development, investing in new homes, and supporting local regeneration to ensure housing is delivered where it is most needed.

The partnership with Hometrack will provide the agency with in-depth, monthly data on every house sale and transaction across the UK, helping to shape national and local housing strategies, guide spatial planning, and inform targeted public investment.

The insights are also expected to support the government’s long-term housing goals, including the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves’s ambition to deliver 1.5 million new homes.
