Custom Audio Designs, a specialist in acoustic design and noise control, has unveiled a new range of modular industrial noise enclosures aimed at reducing excessive noise pollution in both industrial and community settings.
Designed with flexibility and ease of assembly in mind, the enclosures are ideal for applications ranging from heavy machinery containment to soundproofing village halls. Each unit features a self-assembly design that allows for straightforward installation and on-site customisation.
Key features include single or double acoustic doors, ventilation systems, silencers, acoustic louvres, and vision windows—each available as optional components. The enclosures are built on a 450mm-wide main panel footprint, allowing all elements to easily slot into place.
With a focus on both environmental protection and occupational health, Custom Audio Designs continues to deliver effective, user-friendly solutions in acoustic engineering.

For external enclosures that require a high degree of waterproofing it is recommended to install a light-weight waterproofed corrugated type roof over the enclosure.
Internal Structural Support Steels
For larger enclosures an internal steel support frame may be required for supporting the roof and bracing the walls.
This is especially relevant if silencers were to be roof mounted, which they often are, in external plant applications.
If the noise enclosure is inside a factory steel support is not usually required unless the size exceeds 4m(w) x 6m (w) x 4m(h).
If the noise enclosure is external the maximum size before support steels are required would be 3m x 3m x 4m(h) (unless any silencers are roof mounted).
External noise enclosures may be subject to wind loadings which would require some additional support steels.
External Roof Protection
For external applications a lightweight waterproof roof covering is recommended.
