Construction has officially begun at Towcester Park, a major new employment development by IM Properties (IMP), with Winvic Construction Ltd appointed as the main contractor for the project's initial phase.

The 1.1 million sq ft development is expected to generate up to 1,500 jobs once fully occupied and will deliver local benefits through training opportunities and a £100,000 community fund to support nearby initiatives.

Northampton-based Winvic Construction, known for its work in both the private and public sectors, will deliver the first phase of the project.

Towcester Park will offer a range of sustainable, high-quality employment spaces across multiple sectors, with buildings designed to achieve EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings. The site will also feature 15 acres of green space, amenity land, and enhanced landscaping to create a pleasant and environmentally responsible working environment.

To support business growth, IMP is offering a 'Kick Start' scheme with units ranging from 13,500 to 22,000 sq ft, while also catering to larger occupiers with warehouse spaces up to 464,000 sq ft. Facilities will include HQ-style office space, roof terraces, contemporary reception areas, and modern working environments.

The development is designed to support Net Zero ambitions, featuring electric vehicle charging points and aiming for Net Zero Ready status to help occupiers lower their carbon footprint.
