Construction News Image
Galliford Try has been recognised as the leading employer for both graduates and apprentices in the construction and civil engineering sectors by TheJobCrowd, the UK's only league table for graduate and apprentice employers based on employee feedback.

In a double accolade for the Group, Galliford Try was also awarded the top spot in the Environmental and Ethical Awareness category, as voted for by apprentices. The business ranked seventh for apprentices and 21st for graduates across all UK industries, underlining its position as a standout employer well beyond its core sector.

The company has maintained a strong presence in TheJobCrowd rankings over several years, securing top rankings for apprentices in 2023 and for graduates in 2022. This marks the seventh consecutive year Galliford Try has featured in the Top Graduate & Apprentice Employer lists.

Vikki Skene, HR Director and Executive Board member of Galliford Try, commented: "Having been named number one for apprentices last year, and number one for graduates the prior year, we are thrilled to now be in possession of the dual coveted title of the best place to work in construction for both apprentices and graduates.

"We heavily invest in our Early Careers programmes and it’s extremely gratifying to receive another stamp of approval from none other than those our programmes are designed for.

"Beyond that, we are delighted to represent the construction and civil engineering sectors as one of the top companies to be part of across all industries in the UK."
