FreshBreeze Environmental Ltd proudly participated in the launch of the West Midlands Futures Green Paper, an influential event hosted by Mott MacDonald and organised by the Centre for the New Midlands, held on 7 May 2025.
The Green Paper sets out an ambitious vision for the region's future, focusing on innovation, economic resilience, public service reform, infrastructure, and net zero delivery between 2026 and 2031. The consultation period, now open to the public, invites stakeholders from across sectors to contribute towards shaping a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive West Midlands.
Muhammad Yaseen Rajput, Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Founder of FreshBreeze Environmental Ltd, attended the launch and engaged with fellow environmental professionals, urban planners, policy specialists, and community leaders.
"It was inspiring to see the region taking such a collaborative and long-term approach to place-based climate action and development. FreshBreeze Environmental is fully aligned with the vision laid out in the Green Paper, and we are committed to supporting these goals through our air quality services, strategic assessments, and on-the-ground impact," said Mr Rajput.
A light-hearted highlight of the day included an unexpected audience moment where attendees shouted "Freshbreeze!" during a discussion—an organic display of recognition for the company's growing presence in the environmental space. "It was a proud, if slightly surreal, moment,” Mr Rajput added, “but it captured the energy in the room and reminded us that our mission to deliver cleaner air and healthier places is resonating."
FreshBreeze Environmental Ltd offers consultancy and technical services across planning, construction, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors—ensuring regulatory compliance, environmental protection, and community wellbeing through expert air quality and odour assessments, dispersion modelling, and sustainability-led insights.
Key Themes in the Green Paper Include:
Acceleration of research, development, and innovation
Delivery of net zero through locally tailored implementation (2026–2031)
Reform and digitisation of public services
Tackling labour market inequality through inclusive growth
Shaping spatial development and infrastructure
