Wates Property Services has once again been appointed as the sole supplier for a major emergency response framework, tasked with making dangerous buildings and structures safe across London.

Commissioned by a consortium led by The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the new four-year contract will see Wates deliver rapid-response services across all London boroughs. The team has successfully retained this vital contract after serving as lead contractor for over 15 years.

Under the agreement, Wates will continue providing emergency shoring and remedial works to structurally compromised buildings within a two-hour response window, operating 24/7, 365 days a year.

Since its initial appointment to the framework in 2006, Wates has responded to more than 1,800 structural emergencies, including over 400 incidents in the past four years alone.
