Galliford Try Completes 127 Charing Cross Road Development

Galliford Try’s Building London and South East Commercial business has officially completed the redevelopment of 127 Charing Cross Road, handing over the mixed-use scheme to client Nomura Real Estate Development and development manager Lothbury Investment Management.

Located at 127-133 Charing Cross Road in the heart of London, the project involved the partial demolition of the original 1970s building and the construction of a new four-storey extension, resulting in a modernised eight-storey development.

The scheme delivers 78,523 sq ft of upgraded space, including high-specification Category A office accommodation and enhanced ground floor and basement retail and leisure offerings, with direct frontage onto the busy Charing Cross Road.

Designed with sustainability and tenant wellbeing in mind, the project features dedicated tenant facilities and a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views across the West End. It is targeting top-tier sustainability and digital performance credentials, including BREEAM Outstanding, Smart Spaces enablement, WiredScore and SmartScore Gold and ActiveScore Platinum certifications.
