Avant Homes has announced a new £6.2 million agreement with social housing provider Ongo to deliver 34 new homes at its Moorwell Meadows development in Yaddlethorpe.
The deal marks the second partnership between Avant Homes and Ongo, highlighting the housebuilder's growing presence in the affordable housing sector. The new homes, a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties, are currently under construction, with work having started in March and the first handovers expected in June 2026.
Phil Lacey, Group Head of Affordable Housing Delivery at Avant Homes, said: "Our strong relationship with Ongo is indicative of our commitment to providing much needed quality, energy-efficient homes, offering affordability to ensure more people have access to the housing they need.
"We now look forward to working with Ongo as we create a thriving new community within Yaddlethorpe."
The homes at Moorwell Meadows are being delivered by Avant Homes North Yorkshire, part of the Avant Homes Group, which operates across the North of England, the Midlands and Scotland.
