Wates has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of Farnham and Hilldene.
The scheme represents the third phase of the wider Harold Hill Town Centre regeneration and proposes the delivery of 481 new homes, alongside upgraded retail and community spaces. The plans support a broader ambition to transform the area as part of the £1.2 billion "12 Estates" joint venture between Wates and Havering Council.
The project moves forward following a successful estate ballot, with 96.3% of voters backing the plans—demonstrating strong community support for the regeneration.
Progress is also being made on other phases of the Harold Hill regeneration:
• Phase One: A new Family Welcome Centre at the former Abercrombie Hostel site, currently under construction.
• Phase Two: Chippenham Road, which received planning approval in February, with construction expected to begin this winter.
