Applebridge Geoenvironmental, part of the Applebridge Family Construction Group, has been appointed for the Severn Trent Water & Hafren Dyfrdwy Ground Investigation Framework.
The framework, valued at £36 million over a three-year period, brings together 12 contractors to undertake vital ground investigation works across Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy's capital investment programmes. The projects will cover a wide range of locations, including water and sewage treatment works and pipeline routes traversing third-party land.
Applebridge Geoenvironmental's responsibilities will include carrying out detailed ground investigations, interpreting data, and providing critical design insights, all essential to ensuring the success of infrastructure projects at the earliest stages.
The framework will be delivered under the 'ICE Specification for Ground Investigation' (Third Edition, May 2022), which sets a high bar for technical quality and consistency. Applebridge Geoenvironmental's prior experience, including team members who have previously supported the framework, played a key role in its selection.
