Caddick is celebrating a significant milestone in the construction of Lumina Village, a flagship residential development in Old Trafford, as the project reaches its highest structural point.
The £45 million scheme, which will deliver 199 new homes, is taking shape as Caddick and development partner Glenbrook welcomed project stakeholders to mark the occasion. The development is set for completion in summer 2026.
This phase includes 146 apartments across two blocks, one of which will feature ground-floor retail space, alongside 53 new townhouses. With the five- and seven-storey apartment buildings now reaching their full height, Caddick is focused on making them watertight by the summer.
Boost for Local Economy
Caddick's growing presence in Trafford also includes major projects such as Bruntwood and Trafford Council’s transformation of Stretford Mall and Trebor’s Ark 42 distribution facility at Trafford Park.
In 2024, 63% of Caddick's supply chain in the North West operated within a 30-mile radius of its developments. To support its growing pipeline in Trafford, the company has appointed local suppliers, including environmental consultancy E3P and earthworks specialist W Maher.
With Lumina Village taking shape, Old Trafford's newest neighborhood is set to become a key part of the area's regeneration, offering modern homes and retail spaces while supporting local businesses and employment.
