Construction News Image
Indurent has completed the speculative development of the fifth and final phase at Indurent Park Burton, delivering over 392,000 sq ft of industrial space across five warehouse units.

This marks the completion of nearly 1 million sq ft of industrial workspace at the park since its inception in 2017.

The newly completed units, ranging from 38,000 sq ft to 173,000 sq ft, have the potential to support up to 500 jobs. Developed in line with the 'Indurent Code' of sustainable construction, the units meet high environmental standards, achieving BREEAM 'Excellent' and EPC 'A' ratings. They are also equipped with EV charging infrastructure to support a greener, more sustainable future. The buildings feature up to 15-metre clear internal height and Grade A office space, offering flexibility for various business uses.

Indurent Park Burton is located just three miles from Burton-upon-Trent town centre and under an hour's drive from both East Midlands and Birmingham airports. With exceptional connectivity, 90% of the UK population can be reached within four hours, making the park an attractive location for businesses. The park is already a major employment hub, supporting around 1,500 jobs, with key tenants including Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Supply Technologies, Keylite Roof Windows, London City Bond, LIT Logistics Solutions, and Gousto.

The park forms part of a broader 175-acre regeneration project being developed by St Modwen, which will eventually include up to 660 new homes set within landscaped parkland and new woodland.

Ben Silcock, Senior Development Manager at Indurent, said: "The completion of the latest phase at Burton underlines our confidence that businesses will continue to be attracted to Burton as a fast-growing hub for manufacturing and logistics. It’s exceptional connectivity, large labour pool and the delivery of housing and other community infrastructure will continue to underpin economic growth and demand for industrial workspace."
