Caddick Completes First Phase Of Industrial Units At Indurent Park

Caddick Construction has successfully completed two new industrial units at Indurent Park in Meaford, marking the first phase of the 1.05 million sq ft development on the outskirts of Stone, Staffordshire.

Construction on the two units began in February 2024, and the finished development now includes a combined 111,000 sq ft of warehousing space and associated office facilities, along with car parks, service yards, and landscaping designed to support local ecology and habitats.

Situated on the site of the former Meaford Power Station, the development is part of the broader Indurent Park Meaford project, a BREEAM Excellent-rated industrial space located close to Junction 15 of the M6. The park offers a variety of industrial unit sizes to suit businesses looking for high-quality space in a strategically important location.

Beyond Meaford, Caddick is also involved in another significant Midlands project at Vernon Park in Wolverhampton, where they are constructing a 100,000 sq ft distribution warehouse for Staffordshire County Council.

Ray O'Sullivan, Regional Managing Director of Caddick Construction Midlands, commented: "There is a fantastic pipeline of industrial developments in the Midlands, and this is a mark of its connectivity, and strategic position in the UK’s distribution network.

"Ensuring we match supply to demand is reliant on being able to deliver developments that are suited to the diverse needs of businesses, but also making sure we deliver adaptable, efficient and high-quality space. The team have done an exceptional job at Indurent Park Meaford, and we look forward to building our portfolio of industrial projects in the Midlands over the coming years and months."
