Mike Webb, HS&E Director for Galliford Try, commented: "Matthew's appointment is well deserved, and I have no doubt that he will continue to drive our health, safety, and environmental culture forward.

His deep understanding of behavioural safety, combined with his commitment to continuous improvement make him a great fit for the role, and will be invaluable as we maintain our focus on keeping people safe and well. I look forward to seeing the positive impact Matt will make in his new role."
